Product experience overall is good !!!! Great performance and super fast cooling by turbo mode !! Being made of cooper material which has high life span and repairable !!! The service from voltas for installation was also good and installation charges were cheap then compared to outside local dealer as enquired and installation technician were also polite ( in Goa ) overall good product and good service

In-order to get this installed smoothly would suggest to1. Book installation request a day prior to delivery.2. Buy AC Stand.3. Buy AC Stabilizer.Voltas customer care would be pathetic, so please be prepared for this and this is the only compromise you'd make after buying. Would also suggest to buy extended warranty from onsitego.

From my personal experience of buying an AC I know that I was mostly looking to save the recurrent cost, and I was open to buy anything that will save me money in the long run. Which is why I have made this table below of the maximum Power Consumption (and averaging across various brands and ACs) of Different type of ACs available in the market. There might be a few outliers here and there but the below average is from 1000s of samples. Please read the notes below for my observation based on the below table.1 Ton Window AC :3 Star : 1050 - 1150 Watts5 Star : 1000 - 1100 Watts1 Ton Split AC (The evaporator/indoor unit power consumption is very less, so only compressor power is considered) :3 Star : 1050 - 1150 Watts5 Star : 1000 - 1100 Watts1.5 Ton Window AC :2 Star : More than 1750 Watts3 Star : 1550 - 1700 Watts5 Star : 1450 - 1550 Watts1.5 Ton Split AC (The evaporator/indoor unit power consumption is very less, so only compressor power is considered) :2 Star : More than 1700 Watts3 Star : 1550 - 1650 Watts5 Star : 1400 - 1450 WattsAs a very rough calculation, I will say every extra 200 Watts running for 5 hours (compressor run time, not AC) will cost you an extra Rs.200 per month. For example an AC running at 1400 Watts will have a lower bill of Rs. 200 than an AC running at 1600 Watts if they both run for 5 hours daily. Ofcourse there are other variables in the calculation as well.Observational Notes :1) There is not enough saving between 3 Star & 5 Star rating ACs to save a huge amount of money IMO.2) If Possible going for a lesser tonnage AC, will save a decent amount of money in the monthly bill.3) Ofcourse second step also includes finding the Cooling Wattage of the AC, so just to add Stars awarded are based on the cooling capacity wattage divided by power consumption wattage, which gives EER of a unit.4) There is not much difference between Split and Window AC as far as saving electricity bills is concerned.5) Inverter ACs are a different beast and none of the above points apply to Inverter AC.Breaking Down specs of the specific AC :Point 1 : 1011 Watts Copper Compressor.Point 2 : Cooling Capacity of 3550 Watts. So 3550 W/ 1011 W = 3.51 EER. Rating of 3.3 gets you 5 star, so this is much higher than the required requirement to get 5 star.Point 3 : R22 Coolant, which is HCFC and causes Ozone Depletion. However is very readily available for refilling.Point 4 : Not a very great brandname in comparison to Carrier, Hitachi etc.Just to add a bit about the particular AC, it has pretty high EER based on which stars are awarded. This AC with its very decent cooling capacity and lower wattage compressor will save you quite a big chunk of money monthly depending upon your usage. At its present price of Rs. 27,999 which is just Rs. 2000 extra than the 3 star model of the same range, its a highly recommended buy. Do note that Stand (~Rs. 750), Stabiliser (~Rs. 1600), Extra Copper Wire and Installation (~Rs. 1200) in all will cost around extra Rs. 5000-Rs. 8000 but that is the case with other split ACs as well.

Nice Ac from Voltas. Really liked it... Low power consumption and seamless operation. Installed one month back. Nice cooling even at 26-27 range. Nice throw sufficient for a 12x11 room. Though I had 1.5 ton onida in another room with same size this 1 ton provide in par performance no complaints. Though installation engineers were not so cooperative. Failure from voltas part that I had to depend on local known engineers for installation. Voltas engineers came twice and said its difficult to install for them sighting site issues and placement of ac. Amazon need to improve one thing. The delivery team who bring the ac in big trucks demand small money like 100/- for tea snacks in the name of service. Pls take care amazon. This trend should not grow.

Finally installed after 1 month of delivery. Voltas ppl asked for too much koney so got it installed from local guys

Best A.C. in this class and rate is unwatchable compare to all website. Thanks to Amazon they delivered in 2 days time and the installation team of voltas installed on the same day. We need to pay for installation cost and stand cost

Like value for money

I highly recommend this Air Conditioner as it is value for money and efficient. The Voltas staff had to be chased down (maybe because of high demand during hot summers). However, once the complaint was submitted with Voltas, the product was quickly installed.You may also like to purchase 'Microtek EM4170+ Automatic Voltage Stabilizer for AC up to 1.5 ton (170V-270V), Metallic Grey ? LED Display, Wall Mounted' with this air conditioner.
