Opera is now rolling its desktop browser for Windows, macOS, and Linux along with the crypto wallet. The company announced the arrival of the integrated CryptoWallet in August to give an experience similar to what was originally designed for Opera's Android browser back in July. Using the crypto wallet on your Opera desktop browser, you can interact with Ethereum decentralised apps (Dapps) and operate your crypto funds on the Ethereum blockchain. You need scan a QR code on the desktop browser from the Opera mobile browser to get started with the CryptoWallet. Separately, Opera Touch for Android has received a new update that brings a Dark theme. The updated Opera Touch for Android also has bug fixes and stability improvements.

To start using the integrated solution, you presently need to use the private beta of Opera for Android with CryptoWallet along with the latest Opera Labs edition version on your Windows, macOS, or Linux machine. Once you have the latest builds on your Android device as well as desktop, click the CryptoWallet icon in the sidebar of your Opera mobile browser and then click the Reveal the code option to show a QR code that the Opera for Android app need to scan to connect your wallet. You'll be asked to confirm in the Opera mobile browser and on its desktop version to begin the new experience. Notably, you need to confirm your fingerprint each time you sign a transaction or message on the Opera desktop browser. It is also worth pointing out that the CryptoWallet-supported Opera Labs build will install on your system separately from the existing Opera browser.

Users can access Ethereum Dapps on the Opera desktop browser and use Web 3.0 while signing payments with their fingerprint on their Android devices. Opera also assures that the keys owned by users are stored locally on their Android handset. Further, the CryptoWallet by the company supports both tokens and collectibles.

You can download the Opera Labs edition for your Windows, macOS, and Linux devices directly from the Opera site. If you aren't a part of the private beta programme of Opera for Android with CryptoWallet, you can sign up on the dedicated crypto webpage on the Opera site.
