About Love Island USA Season 1 Web Series

A dating reality show ought to serve drama, romance, and gossip: and so does Love Island, the US adaptation of the British reality drama of the same name.

It brings together a bunch of single men and women in a gorgeous villa standing on the shores of turquoise Fijian waters — who need to be in a relationship with any fellow islander to stay in the game.

As the show begins, the islanders need to pair up with each other, based on their first impressions. However, they are provided with the choice to “re-couple” on special occasions through the season.

If a contestant remains single after recoupling — or is voted out by the public — s/he is out.

The islanders have limited contact with the outside world; however, they are provided with cell phones to interact with fellow participants on the island.

During the finale, the winning couple is provided with two envelopes — one with the prize money and one empty. Whether or not the couple decides to split the $100,000 defines the last segment of the Love Island drama.
