About Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana Movie (2017)

Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana is a 2017 Hindi movie that is about a couple Satyendra aka Sattu (Rajkummar Rao) and Aarti (Kriti Kharbanda), who are forced to meet each other for an arranged marriage but end up falling in love with each other.

Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana starts with Aarti?s father asking her to meet a boy named Satyendra for the prospect of marriage. Initially, she is hesitant, but on meeting him and getting to know him, she begins to like him, and their wedding gets fixed. On the day of their wedding, Aarti?s PSC?s results are out, and she qualifies it her elder sister Aabha (Nayani Dixit) warns her not to get married and suggests her to elope if she wants to make a future, to which she agrees. Sattu, on knowing that Aarti has left him, leaves him and his family in shock and heartbroken.

After five years, Aarti is a PSC officer who gets suspended after getting accused of taking a bribe. Her officer in charge happens to become Satyendra, who is now an IAS officer. After many ups and downs and threatening her to make her life a living hell, he investigates the case and finds out the real culprit behind the bribe was Neelam, her closest friend. They go back to their hometown, where Aarti tries every possible way to make him accept his feelings for her but fails. One day Sattu receives a wedding card from Aarti and Sharad, which makes him realise that he still has feelings for her that make him gate-crash the wedding only to find out that this was all a set-up and Sharad is Aarti?s brother-in-law.

Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana is a mix of drama and romance with little comedy here and there, and if you want to enjoy this movie, it is streaming on Zee5.
