Battlefield V beta will be available in the first week of September to all players, a Nvidia executive revealed Monday at Gamescom 2018, during the launch of the company’s new lineup of graphics cards, GeForce RTX 20 series.

On stage in Cologne, Germany, Nvidia CEO and President Jensen Huang announced that the Battlefield V open beta will kick off early access on Tuesday, September 4. Everyone else can get on the beta starting Thursday, September 6.

There are two ways to get early access for the Battlefield V open beta. You can either choose to pre-order the game on PC, PS4 or Xbox One, or subscribe to one of EA’s three subscription-based services, EA Access on Xbox, and Origin Access or Origin Access Premier on PC.

If you’re worried about a big download size delaying your start time, fret not. You will be able to preload the beta starting 8am UTC (1:30pm IST) on Monday, September 3, developer EA DICE said in an accompanying blog post.

Battlefield V open beta will give players access to the 64-player Conquest mode on the Rotterdam map in the Netherlands or the Arctic Fjord map, set in icy terrain of Narvik, Norway. Additionally, the beta will grant access to two “days” of Grand Operations, which EA describes as a “modular narrative experience inspired by historical events”.

The full version of Battlefield V is out in October. EA/Origin Access members get it first on October 11, followed by Deluxe Edition pre-orders on October 16, with the rest on October 19.
