Disney makes seven games free on Windows Phone Store in limited period offer

Disney has made seven of its gaming titles free for Windows Phone devices, available for a limited time via the Windows Phone Store.

These seven games from Disney include Where's My Mickey?, Tor Story: Smash It!, Where's My Perry?, Where's MY Water?, Wreck-It Ralph, Monsters University and Avengers Initiative. Previously most of these games were priced ranging from $0.99 to $4.99.

Three other Disney games, which are already free on the Windows Phone Store, are Nemo's Reef, Where's My Water? 2 and Frozen Free Fall.

These games are available only for a limited time-period but the exact dates have not been mentioned. "Welcome the new year with these amazing deals - Download 7 of your favourite Disney games FREE for a limited time only!," is stated by Disney on the description page of all the seven games.

Games such as Where's My Water?, Where's My Mickey? and Where's My Perry are physics-based puzzle games with a number of challenging missions for the user to complete. Games like Avengers Initiative and Monsters University are slightly more detailed as they include a good amount of customization of characters and other mini games to play.

While game titles like Wreck-It Ralph, Where's My Water?, Toy Story: Smash It! and Where's My Perry are sized below 50MB, other games like Monster University, Avengers Initiative and Where's My Mickey will take up a size of 82MB, 763MB and 110MB respectively.

Back in December, Disney was in the news in technology circles, with the high-profile appointment of Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey as an independent board director. At 36, Dorsey, who is also CEO of fast-growing payments startup Square, will be by far the media conglomerate's youngest board member.
