Electronic Arts has rolled-out the EA Access subscription to all Xbox One users globally on Monday. The gaming service was first announced in late July in limited beta mode, and was available only to select users.

"Get ready to play the best of EA. EA Access, a new way to play great EA games, is available today exclusively for Xbox One owners. We launched this new program just a few weeks ago to a limited beta group and now we're excited to bring this to the broader Xbox One community today. The program is rolling out now and will be available for all eligible gamers by the end of the day," stated the official EA blog post on Monday.

For those unaware, EA on July 29 had announced the EA Access subscription for the Xbox One, offering gamers unlimited access to select EA titles at a monthly subscription of $4.99 (approximately Rs. 300), and an annual subscription of $29.99 (approximately Rs. 1,800).

Electronic Arts also noted that EA Access subscriptions will be available to purchase from local retail stores, GameStop and on Amazon, for Xbox One gamers across Europe, as well as at EB Games in Canada.

EA adds that subscribers would also be able to try out new EA games like Madden NFL 15, FIFA 15, NHL 15 and Dragon Age: Inquisition five days before the release date. The users would get the option to download the game before the release date for a limited time. Also noted is the progress made by the player in the trial mode, which gets saved if the user wants to purchase the game and continue playing it.

The game service by EA would also offer Xbox One users 10 percent off on digital purchases of EA games and downloadable content for the console. In addition, the expansion packs for game titles, for instance Battlepacks for Battlefield or an extra pack for FIFA, can be purchased for 10 percent discounted price.

Notably, Xbox One's rival Sony PlayStation 4, would not be getting the EA Access service for its users. Sony reportedly stated the recently announced EA Access subscription for the Xbox One did not represent good value for its customers.
