The bullet-dodging action is finally coming to Android! After much delay, Rockstar games have announced the release of Max Payne Mobile for Android. The game, which was originally released for iOS devices on April 12 this year, will now land on the Google Play store on June 14. The game is slated to cost $2.99.

Max, a fugitive undercover cop framed for murder is being hunted down by cops and the mob, makes a desperate attempt to clear his name and uncover the truth about his slain family. The game includes HD graphics, high resolution textures, user customisable controls and gamepad support for USB controllers as well.

The announcement came with a long list of supported Android smartphones and tablets published by Rockstar Games on their official site. It was surprising not to see the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S III as part of the list.
