Rise of the Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics showcased the first piece of downloadable content for the game at The Game Awards. Dubbed Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch, it will be available in early 2016.

"Deep in the wilds of Siberia, there is a forbidden forest that no man will enter, where a Soviet expedition vanished without a trace. Lara enters the Wicked Vale in search of a missing man, but what she finds is a nightmare that she cannot explain. Is the witch, Baba Yaga, truly haunting the forbidden forest? Or is there more to the legend?" the description on Xbox Wire reads.

The premise seems to be intriguing what with the trailer making references to protagonist Lara Croft's father and teasing gargantuan enemies. It's a part of the game's season pass and will include hours of gameplay, a new outfit, and a bow, along with new Expedition Cards which allow players to access to different modifiers, weapons, and outfits for use outside of the story campaign.

We found Rise of the Tomb Raider on the shorter side. Even more so considering its steep price of Rs. 4,699. There simply isn't enough of a reason to go back to it once you're done. Hopefully this add-on rectifies it, although it does make an already expensive game, even more costly.
