A good smartphone camera is hard to come by in the budget segment. Here, manufacturers usually try to offer the best processors, RAM and storage because specifications stand out. We've seen some smartphones that claim to be camera-focused, such as Xiaomi’s Redmi Y1 (Review), part of its Y series, which didn't turn out to be great when we reviewed it.
Honor 9 Lite Summary
The 9 Lite features a compact form factor with a mirror-finish glass back, which looks really striking. The phone is also incredibly lightweight due to the plastic build. The 9 Lite has a FullView 5.65-inch IPS display, which produces punchy colours and good brightness levels. The bezels are also pretty slim. Powering the phone is an octa-core Kirin 659 SoC and you have two RAM and storage combinations to choose from. EMUI 8 is quite polished but isn't as snappy as stock Android or OnePlus' OxygenOS. Both 13-megapixel cameras have accompanying sensors for sensing depth. We found portrait mode to work a bit better on the front camera but overall image quality is pretty average. Battery life could be better as even with the 3000mAh battery, it's a bit tough to go beyond a full day.

Very poor software working after one year.Sudhir Gaikwad (Jul 16, 2019) on Gadgets 360I using this from last one year,before completing one it works superbly.but as one year is completed it started the same problem of hanging all the time just like samsung mobiles,so now feeling that all the china made mobiles are like that only which are working one year nicely and after that it shows there real faces. i think that they are manufacturing for that purpose only so as to run their market.They are manyfacturing all the mobiles for 1 year only after that people should get fed up of problems and buy a new mobile.Wow what a nice policy to run the market.Is this review helpful?
