Honor 9X Pro mobile was launched in July 2019. The phone comes with a 6.59-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels at a pixel density of 391 pixels per inch (ppi) and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Honor 9X Pro is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 810 processor. It comes with 6GB of RAM. The Honor 9X Pro runs Android Pie and is powered by a 4000mAh battery.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Honor 9X Pro on the rear packs a 48-megapixel (f/1.8, 1.6-micron) primary camera; a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera; an 8-megapixel (2-micron) camera, and a 2.4-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies with an f/2.2 aperture.

The Honor 9X Pro runs EMUI 9.1 is based on Android Pie and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 512GB). The Honor 9X Pro is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The Honor 9X Pro measures 163.10 x 77.20 x 8.80mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 206.00 grams. It was launched in Midnight Black and Phantom Purple colours.

Connectivity options on the Honor 9X Pro include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.20, USB Type-C, Headphones, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.
