IPL 2014: 5 Ways to Stay on Top of All the Action via Google

We are half-way through IPL 2014 and if you've been missing the action, here's how you can use Google's tools to catch all the 20-20 action.

1. Search

The simplest, and most obvious, way to get live updates through Google is to do a quick Web search. Google Knowledge Graph automatically displays live scores or upcoming fixtures if your search for IPL. More specifically, you can search for a particular team to look for its upcoming matches, scores and results of previous games. Google recently launched Hindi cricket scorecard for IPL. To try this, change your Android phone's language to Hindi and search for IPL 2014 scores. This will show you the match scorecard in Hindi. Then search for statistics and the results will appear in Hindi.

If you want to settle debates on which team is the most popular, just head to Google Trends - you're likely to find a great website for friendly banter with fans of rival teams.
