Black Friday Sale 2018 on Amazon India features deals on international brands
Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, also marks a major holiday sale for people in the US. Similarly, Cyber Monday is a marketing term coined for the Monday after the Thanksgiving holiday in the country. Over the last few years, the hype over the shopping mania has caught on to a few other markets, such as India, as well. Amazon India has announced a Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale in the country and has previewed a plethora of deals and discounts on products from international brands. While Indian shoppers are spoilt for choice when it comes to festive sales across online platforms, the Black Friday sales are a good time to purchase products that are not available in the country. Notably, the Amazon India Global Store will be hosting the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale starting today (Friday) at 1:30pm IST.
During the Amazon India Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale, interested buyers will be able to purchase products from international brands via the Amazon Global Store. Amazon is promising up to 40 percent off on products across various categories. Though these products will be available with discounts and include import duties, you may be charged extra for shipping. When it comes to electronic products, Amazon India has previewed some offers on brands such as Seagate, Philips, Catan Studios, Mattel, Asus, among others. Notably, the Black Friday Deals will be available from 1:30pm IST on November 23 (Friday) to 1:30pm on November 27 (Tuesday).
Some of the early Black Friday deals on Amazon Global Store in India include pendrives, memory cards, external hard drive, and solid-state drives (SSDs) from SanDisk, WD, and more. A key offer in this category is the WD 3TB Elements Portable External Hard Drive that is available for Rs. 7,126 (excluding the delivery charge). Additionally, there are some deals available on Acer desktops as well. For instance, the Acer Aspire TC-885-ACCFLi3 desktop with 8th generation Intel Core i3-8100 processor is available for Rs. 35,122 (excluding delivery charge).
Some of the other early offers in the Amazon India Black Friday Sale include the HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset (available for Rs. 7,990), Altec Lansing Bluetooth speakers, Impact Pro Electronic Earmuff, Marshall Wireless On-Ear Headphone, Razer Naga Trinity MMO Mouse, and more. You can also purchase various variants of the Oculus Go and Oculus Rift VR systems.
Additionally, there are some deals and discounts on smart watches and activity trackers as well. Products from Garmin, such as the Vivoactive 3 GPS, Forerunner 35 Watch, Approach S20 Gold Watch among others.
A massive number of discounts across Amazon's departments are already available and new ones will be added through the week. It is worth noting that the Black Friday sale on Amazon India's Global Store will go live later in the day. Once active, the sale will bring more deals in discounts across product categories. As seen in the landing page, expect a number of offers on Asus laptops, Seagate products, Oculus Go and Oculus Rift, among others.
