Google is known to celebrate works of renowned artists through its doodle. And today it is honouring works of Keith Haring and celebrating his life.
Haring's started the trend of what is now referred to as 'pop art'. The New York City subway was his studio where he started showcasing his early work. His trademark figures such as the radiant babies, barking dogs and flying saucers were seen daily by thousands of passengers. The biggest hallmark of his art work was that his drawings were fast & simple so even passengers catching only a glimpse could still understand it.
