Motorola Mobility was established in 2011 following the split of Motorola into two companies, with Motorola Solutions catering to the enterprise segment. Acquired soon after by Google, Motorola Mobility was sold to Lenovo in 2014. Motorola made its first Android smartphone in 2009, and its first Android tablet in 2011.

Motorola's latest mobile launch is the Edge 50 Ultra. The mobile was launched in 18th June 2024. The phone comes with a 6.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1220 pixels by 2712 pixels at a PPI of 446 pixels per inch.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and it comes with 12GB of RAM. The phone packs 512GB of internal storage cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra packs a 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 64-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 50-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra runs Android 14 and is powered by a 4500mAh non removable battery. It measures 161.09 x 72.38 x 8.59 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 197.00 grams.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is a dual SIM mobile that accepts . Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope and Barometer.
