Honor View 10 Goes on Sale in India for First Time, Launch Offers Detailed

Honor View 10 (Review), the new AI-focused flagship from the Huawei brand, went on sale in India on Monday, January 8. The smartphone - exclusively available via Amazon India - is in fact the global variant of the Honor V10, which was launched in China in November. Apart from its AI-capable SoC, the Honor View 10 also boasts of a 5.99-inch 18:9 display, 6GB RAM, and dual rear cameras. The Honor View 10 price in India has been set at Rs. 29,999. It is available in Midnight Black and Navy Blue colour variants. The India price is exceptional, as the smartphone was given a significantly higher price in the EU and the UK during the global launch, of EUR 499 (roughly Rs. 38,000) and GBP 449 (roughly Rs. 38,900).

Honor View 10 launch offers include a flat Rs. 1,500 off when using ICICI credit cards to purchase. No-cost EMIs starting Rs. 2,500 a month are also available. For Airtel subscribers, up to 90GB of free data will be provided. For prepaid subscribers, the offer will give 15GB of 3G/4G data per recharge for 6 recharges (on 349 prepaid recharge). For postpaid subscribers, the offer gives 15GB of 3G/4G data for 6 months on postpaid plan of Infinity 499 and above.

The Honor View 10 features a dual rear camera setup, Android 8.0 Oreo, an 18:9 display, and a flagship-level SoC with its own NPU (neural processing unit) for AI-based tasks. These AI-based features on the Honor View 10 include Facial Unlock technology, which is said to support payment-level authentication, and unlock in 400ms.
