After launching the UltraPixel selfie camera smartphone, the HTC Desire 826, at CES 2015 - HTC on Tuesday announced its partnership with athletic equipment manufacturer Under Armour to "empower athletes everywhere."

Under Armour also unveiled a health and fitness tracker app for Android and iOS devices dubbed UA Record, apart from the UA Record website, at CES. The app can keep a progress record of things like steps, sleep, calorie burn, heart rate and weight.

"UA Record offers everyone of all fitness levels the ability to pro-actively manage their health and fitness," said Kevin Plank, Founder and CEO, Under Armour. "By syncing the thousands of fitness tracking devices and apps onto its open platform, and creating a visual dashboard of your data, UA Record is a simple and empowering tool designed to help people lead healthier and more active lives."

HTC said that it is also designing a series of products to work that will work seamlessly with the UA Record apps and website.
