iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone SE T-Mobile Users Face Network Issue on iOS 10; Apple Issues Fix

iOS 10 was released a few days ago for eligible iOS devices. Initial adopters faced bricking issues, but Apple quickly resolved it, and asked affected users to restore their devices via iTunes. Now, T-Mobile subscribers, specifically with iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and iPhone SE units, are reporting lack of connectivity issues after switching to iOS 10. However, the telecom firm's CEO John Legere has confirmed that Apple has released a fix to the connectivity problem, and has resolved the issue.

Legere took to Twitter to announce that there was a network issue faced by many iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and iPhone SE users after installing iOS 10. Users faced frequent network blackouts, and have to keep restarting their smartphones to restore network. Legere on Thursday asked T-Mobile subscribers to not install iOS 10, until the issue is fixed, which Apple promised to resolve within 48 hours. A few hours ago however, Legere confirmed that Apple has fixed the issue, and that the iOS 10 update is now safe to install.

All affected users can head to Settings > General > About to install the fix, and install the fix to resolve the issue. Users who didn't download iOS 10 till now, can now do so freely by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

Starting Friday, Apple is set to release the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus to retail stores in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE, the UK, US Virgin Islands, and the US. Apple has revealed the pricing of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in India as well, and will make it available starting October 7.
