Motorola is expected to launch the Moto G (Gen 3) and Moto X (Gen 3) at its launch event on Tuesday. While the leaks for the former have been very frequent, the latter, high-end phone has seen few leaks in the recent past - tipping the Moto X (Gen 3) may in fact launch later this year, in line with September timeline of last year's Moto X (Gen 2) launch and that tipped by the Motorola president. While the design profile of the alleged handset was leaked last week in some images, a new leak tips further specifications.

The Hello Moto HK account on Google+ has suggested the Moto X (Gen 3) to feature a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution display, which differs from the previous leak that suggested a 5.6-inch display with QHD (1440x2560 pixels) resolution. Inclusion of a 21-megapixel rear camera; a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a battery capacity of over 3600mAh are also tipped in the post.

The unannounced Motorola Moto X (Gen 3) will reportedly come in dual-SIM version, in which the second SIM slot would double as a microSD card slot as well. The handset will reportedly run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The previous leaks mention the smartphone to run on a Snapdragon processor clubbed with a 3GB RAM, equip 32GB of inbuilt storage, and feature USB Type-C support. The Google+ post also uploaded an earlier leaked image of the unannounced handset, hinting at a new colour version.

The Moto X (Gen 3) has also been tipped to house a front-facing flash and thinner screen bezels as compared to its predecessors. The recently leaked images show the rear panel of the Moto X (Gen 3), which look almost identical to that of the upcoming Moto G (Gen 3), with a silver strip stretching from the rear camera to a Motorola logo near the centre of the smartphone.

The Lenovo-owned company is holding an event in New Delhi at 3:30pm IST, apart from events in London, New York, and Sao Paulo. It appears as if the India event will be the first to be held, with the Sao Paulo and New York events scheduled for 10am BRT (which is 6:30pm IST) and 9am ET (which is 6:30pm IST) respectively, while the London event is scheduled for 2pm BST (which is also 6:30pm IST). It is possible Motorola unveils the Moto X (Gen 3) at the international events, and only the Moto G (Gen 3) in India, where the lower-end smartphone was also already briefly listed by exclusive online retailer Flipkart. As mentioned earlier, it is also possible the Moto X (Gen 3) will be launched later this year.
