Nokia is expected to unveil six new devices at its October 22 event, due to be held at Nokia World in Abu Dhabi, according to The Verge's sources familiar with company's roadmap told.

The site suggests that Nokia's event scheduled for next month will see six new devices which will include at least two new Lumia devices, the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 2520. Further the site reveals that there will be a range of new accessories unveiled and out of which one would be 'pretty special'. However, there is no word about the accessories or rumoured four new devices expected to launch on October 22.

Much of the speculation about the October 22 event have centred on the Nokia's long-rumoured Lumia 1520 phablet. The rumoured first phablet from Finnish handset maker has been said to come with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, a nano-SIM and a microSD card slot. The expected highlight of the alleged Lumia 1520 is a 20-megapixel rear camera, as well as a 6-inch full-HD display, a resolution that can now be supported thanks to the Microsoft's GDR3 update.

Nokia is also expected to formally launch its first tablet; Lumia 2520 codenamed Sirius, based on Windows RT. Nokia's rumoured Windows RT tablet is likely to feature a 10.1-inch IPS full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) display and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm 8974 (ARM) processor. The tablet is expected to weigh about 1.3 pounds (590 grams) and offer a battery backup of up to 10 hours. The Nokia Sirius Windows RT tablet has been rumoured to sport a 6.7-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and to come preloaded with Nokia's own apps. The company has long been rumoured to be working on the tablet, but there has not been much indication about the official name of the tablet, which is now reportedly close to debuting.

Nokia's Innovation Reinvented event comes at an important time for the company which has seen its global market share dip amid growing wave of low-cost Android devices.
