OnePlus Ace 6T Launched With 8,300mAh Battery, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC: Price, Specifications

OnePlus Ace 6T was launched in China by the smartphone brand on Wednesday as the latest addition to its Ace 6 lineup. The handset will go on sale in the country via the Oppo China online store in three colourways. The new OnePlus Ace 6T is powered by Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 series chipset, which was launched on November 26. It gets a dual rear camera setup, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary shooter. Moreover, it is equipped with an 8,300mAh battery and the new Wind Chaser Gaming Kernel. It also has IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.

OnePlus Ace 6T Price, Availability

OnePlus Ace 6T pricing starts at CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 33,000) for the base variant with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. Meanwhile, the higher-end options with 16GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage cost CNY 2,899 (roughly Rs. 37,000), CNY 3,099 (roughly Rs. 40,000), and CNY 3,399 (about Rs. 43,000), respectively. The top-of-the-line variant is priced at CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs. 47,000), offering 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

As part of an introductory offer, the company is offering the OnePlus Ace 6T with a discount of CNY 200 (about Rs. 2,600). It will go on sale in China via the Oppo China online store on December 5. The OnePlus Ace 6T is offered in Flash Black, Fleeting Green, and Electric Violet (translated from Chinese) colourways.

OnePlus Ace 6T Specifications, Features

The OnePlus Ace 6T is a dual SIM handset that runs on Android 16-based ColorOS 16. It sports a 6.83-inch Full-HD+ (1,272x2,800 pixels) AMOLED display with up to 165Hz refresh rate, up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness, 450ppi pixel density, 1.07 billion colours, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, and up to 330Hz touch sampling rate.

It is powered by Qualcomm's octa core Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, featuring two performance cores and six efficiency cores. The SoC, which is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 onboard storage, is capable of delivering a peak clock speed of 3.84GHz.

For optics, the OnePlus Ace 6T is equipped with a dual rear camera unit, headlined by a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) primary shooter with two-axis optical image stabilisation (OIS). It also carries an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) ultrawide rear camera with a 112-degree field of view.

It ships with a 16-megapixel (f/2.4) front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. While the rear camera setup is capable of shooting up to 4K resolution videos at up to 120fps, the selfie camera can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps.

The list of onboard sensors includes a proximity sensor, an ambient light sensor, a colour temperature sensor, an electronic compass, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, and an IR blaster. The OnePlus Ace 6T also gets an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for security. In terms of connectivity options, it supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, USB Type-C port, Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS.

It packs an 8,300mAh battery with 100W wired SuperVOOC fast charging support. The OnePlus Ace 6T is IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K rated for dust and water resistance. It measures 163.41x77.04x8.30mm in dimensions, while weighing about 217g.
