If you are looking to buy one OnePlus X Ceramic variant in India, you can make the purchase from Friday. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has announced that it will be selling a limited number of OnePlus X Ceramic variant in the country, but only offline at select locations.

The company announced on Thursday that it will be holding invite-free sales of the limited edition OnePlus X Ceramic variant at French Connection retail stores between 7pm to 9pm in New Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. To entice users, the company is selling the OnePlus X Ceramic variant at a 10 percent discount. It added that it will provide an additional Rs. 500 voucher and a special gift bag to the first 50 buyers.

"The Ceramic edition is a special device in the OnePlus X line. The unique craftsmanship required to produce the Ceramic edition requires time and precision," said Karan Sarin, Head of Marketing - India, OnePlus. "Our fans have been eagerly waiting to own the OnePlus X Ceramic ever since we announced its launch and we see the perfect partner in French Connection, a brand that is synonymous with style and celebrated as a top-of-the-line fashion label."

To recall, OnePlus at the time of launch of the OnePlus X had said that Ceramic variant would be made available in India at a later date. The company last month announced that it would be selling the Ceramic variant with invites every Thursday.

For a refresh, the OnePlus X Ceramic is identical to the Onyx variant of the smartphone at least as far as the internal components are concerned. The Ceramic variant utilises different material on the outside build. The Onyx version is priced at Rs. 16,999 in India, while the Ceramic version costs Rs. 22,999.
