Panasonic on Tuesday launched a mini version of its selfie-focused Eluga S smartphone in India, the Eluga S Mini, priced at Rs. 8,990. The original version of the handset was launched in November last year priced at Rs. 11,190. The Eluga S Mini will hit shelves this week.

The dual-SIM supporting Android 4.4.2 KitKat-based Eluga S Mini runs the company's own FIT HOME UI on top, and features a 4.7-inch display with an HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution. The smartphone is powered by an 1.4GHz octa-core (unspecified) processor and 1GB of RAM.
