PoS merchant MSwipe has announced that the Samsung Pay mobile payment system is now supported at its terminals across the country. This partnership will increase the penetration of Samsung's mobile payment system in the Indian market, as Samsung Pay users can now be used in over 200,000 Mswipe terminals in India, the company said in a statement.

This means all Mswipe terminals across the country will now support Samsung Pay payments. To make payment using an Mswipe terminal, customers need to choose their preferred debit or credit card when accessing Samsung Pay, scan their fingerprint, and tap their device on an Mswipe terminal to finish the payment.

"Samsung Pay has been designed to be the smartest and most convenient method to make digital payments today. This tie-up will enable us to make Samsung Pay ubiquitous and acceptable at even the smallest and remotest of merchants across the country", Sanjay Razdan, Director - Product Planning - Samsung India Electronics, said in a statement.

At Mswipe, we have anticipated this and built terminals that are future-ready so that our merchants can accept payments seamlessly, even when there is a technology shift", Manish Patel, Founder and CEO, Mswipe, said in a statement. "By enabling Samsung Pay, we are offering lacs of users an option to make swift, secure and contactless digital payments at our terminals."
