Samsung Galaxy S III owners in Poland woke up to a pleasant surprise Monday morning. As per a report in SamMobile, Samsung has started rolling out the Jelly Bean Android 4.1.1 update for Galaxy S III users in Poland.

This is the first official Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy S III users anywhere in the world. The update is available via KIES as well as an over-the-air upgrade for owners of Samsung's flagship smartphone. The news comes as surprise, since indications were the Jelly Bean update won't be available before October.

Jelly Bean will bring new features like Google Now, offline voice typing, expandable notifications and more, including performance improvements credited to Google's "Project Butter".
