Sansui Horizon 2 With 4G VoLTE Support, 2GB RAM Launched at Rs. 4,999

After the launch of Horizon 1 last month, Japanese tech company Sansui on Friday launched its second smartphone called Horizon 2. One of the biggest highlights of the smartphone is the MiraVision display of the smartphone that is claimed by the company to offer a range of visual enhancements for images and videos on the device, while preserving battery power. Sansui Horizon 2 will be exclusively available via Flipkart from Monday, May 15, at an introductory price of Rs. 4,999 in Rose Gold and Silver Grey colour variants.

The dual-SIM Sansui Horizon 2 supports 4G VoLTE and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. It bears a 5-inch HD (720x1280) display with the MiraVision technology that uses MediaTek's algorithms. It is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737V/W processor paired with 2GB of RAM, a bump of 1GB of RAM as compared to the Horizon 1.

Coming to its photography department, the Sansui Horizon 2 offers an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, fixed focus and Night Vision recording features. The camera app comes with additional features like face detection (Number of Faces), HDR, panorama, continuous shots (3/6/10). On the front side, there is a 5-megapixel camera for taking selfies with Face Beauty feature.

The Sansui Horizon 2 sports 16GB of inbuilt storage with an option to expand further via microSD card (up to 64GB). The smartphone packs a 2450mAh battery, and connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and GPS. Talking about the sensors present in the smartphone, Sansui Horizon 2 has an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor onboard.

Keeping the mobile user's security in mind, Sansui Horizon 2 also comes with a panic button functionality, just like the Horizon 1. It also comes with one full version of a pre-embedded Gameloft game. For dimensions, the handset measures 146.8x74.7x9.15 mm.

Speaking on the launch of Horizon 2, Abhishek Malpani, COO, Mobiles, Sansui said, "The next generation Horizon 2 smartphone will give the customers a tremendous experience of technology and functionality. Sansui has been committed to develop innovative smartphones to woo the Indian customers. Sansui Horizon 2 will come in Black Grey and Rose Gold colour variants. Our new Smartphone will be exclusively available on Flipkart, starting from May."
