Spice prepares to launch dual-SIM Mi-285, M-6688

Spice Mobile is all set to launch two new handsets in the Indian market - Spice M-6688 and Spice Mi-285. Though the company has made no announcements in regards to the availability and pricing of these handsets but both of them are now retailing at Saholic.

Spice Mi-285 is an Android dual-SIM touch and type phone. It sports a 2.8-inch screen and has a 650 MHz processor. In terms of connectivity this smartphone supports GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity. Apart from these, Spice Mi-285 also has 3.2 megapixel back camera and VGA front camera. One can expand the memory of this handset to up to 32 GB. Spice Mi-285 runs on Android Gingerbread and comes with Netquin antivirus. This smartphone is retailing for Rs.6,399.

Spice M-6688, too, is a dual-SIM full touch screen phone, but it comes with Comet UI and iHome UI. There is a 3.2 megapixel rear camera on board and it comes with 1000 mAh battery that claims to deliver 4 hours of talktime . Spice M-688 comes with 43.8MB of internal storage capacity that can be expanded till 8GB. Other features include, FM radio with recording, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, USB connectivity,Wi-Fi, and a 312MHz processor. The listed price for this handset is Rs. 3,789.
