Walter Isaacson's book 'Steve Jobs' will hit stands on November 21 and Jobs' death on Wednesday will only boost interest and anticipation among readers. Isaacson had last interviewed Jobs four weeks ago, at the time he had stepped down as Apple CEO in August, a report in the Wall Street Journal said. "Jobs indicated at that time that he knew he was going to die soon. The scene will appear at the end of the book," it said.

Isaacson conducted more than 40 interviews with Jobs over two years, besides talking to his friends and families. Isaacson is the chief executive of Aspen Institute and was the former managing editor of Time magazine. He is the author of bestselling biographies of Albert Einstein and Ben Franklin.

The book was initially titled 'iSteve: The Book of Jobs' and scheduled for a spring 2012 release. It would now be out in November and will be called 'Steve Jobs'.

The publisher has said that Jobs did not control the contents of the book, and spoke "candidly, sometimes brutally so, about the people he worked with and competed against." The book was ranked No. 384 on Amazon.com, due to early orders on the day of Jobs' death.
