The Galaxy A series is the middle child of the Galaxy lineup, sitting right between the overachieving Galaxy S series and the value-for-money Galaxy M series. The A series has had some good-looking phones in the past but they sometimes fall short in terms of performance compared to others at the same prices. The latest models to launch are the Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy A72. These new smartphones definitely look good, but has Samsung worked on improving performance? I put the Galaxy A52 through its paces to find out.

Samsung Galaxy A52 Summary

The Galaxy A52 is a part fo the A series and was launched alongside the Galaxy A72. The new Galaxy A52 has a big 6.5-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a hole-punch display. It also has a fast 90Hz refresh rate. The build is mainly plastic which isn't the case with its competition. The Galaxy A52 is IP67 rated and you will find a rubber seal around the SIM tray to help keep water and dust out. The smartphone has a 4,500mAh battery and is manageable for single-handed use. The battery is capable of fast charging at 25W but you only get a 15W charger in the box.

The Galaxy A52 has a quad-camera setup at the back consisting of a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, a 5-megapixel macro camera and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The camera performance is acceptable in daylight but the wide-angle camera does not capture as much detail as the primary camera. Close-up were good and the Galaxy A52 clicks some good portraits. The macro camera too was good in delivering a crisp output. Selfies taken from the selfie camera were good and the camera did a good job in most lighting conditions.

The Galaxy A52 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720 processor which is a decent processor. It is capable of delivering good performance and coupled with 6GB of RAM, multitasking too is easy. Compared to some of the direct competitors of the Galaxy A52, the chipset feels underpowered.

The 4,500mAh battery delivers good battery life and the phone went for about a day and a half with our usage. Charging times weren't too long either with the charger topping the phone up in about an hour and a half.

Simply put, Samsung is Samsung. Very good cameras, capable processor, amazing Samsung's One UI 3.1 which is well optimized for SD 720G, IP 67 certificate for water resistance, super display, above average battery, stereo speakers ...Chinese phones have better hardware and better quality cell phone design, but everything else is on Samsung?s side. I was thinking between the redmi note 10 pro and the Samsung A52, but I still opted for the Samsung a52, because apart from the many advantages that the Samsung a52 has over the Xiaomi Redmi note 10 pro, the buggy and unreliable MIUI on Chinese phones is one of the main reasons why I avoid those phones.

Hello guys plz someone tell me how much time take this mobile is to charge zero to 100 idk but my mob A52 is take charge zero to 90 in close to 3hrs may be its bcz of high room temperature bcz in our country has to much heat bcz of summer so plzz tell me guys how much your mob take time?

Pls don't buy this mobile as it gets hang for evry 1 hour...it's worst I suggest don't buy this .waste of money I spent 26500 totally dis satisfied no one cares if go to service centre

It's a absolute pick if you are looking for a phone within the range of 20k to 30k.Cons: From camera to display everything is great.Pros: Only things that is missing is fast charging. It takes time to charge the phone.
