Samsung has been launching a new iteration of its oversized Galaxy Tab S Ultra for three years. These tablets are large and heavy, but they also have one of the best mobile AMOLED displays you can get your hands on. And these unique characteristics make it appealing to a very niche market. If you are browsing for a large tablet, you are either looking to use it as a second screen or as a sketchpad. It's too large even for a “light” productivity device, and when you pair it with its two keyboard options, it is also quite expensive. I have been using the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra for a few weeks, and I'm not too convinced about why anyone should invest in one when a Galaxy Tab S10+ exists.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is a high-performance tablet featuring a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 1848 x 2960 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, expandable via microSDXC. The tablet houses a 11200mAh battery with 45W wired charging, and runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.1. It also offers IP68 dust and water resistance, and includes an S Pen with 2.8ms latency.
The device features dual rear cameras (13MP wide and 8MP ultrawide) and dual front cameras (12MP wide and 12MP ultrawide), both capable of recording 4K videos. Audio is delivered through quad stereo speakers tuned by AKG. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C 3.2. The tablet also supports Samsung DeX, Circle to Search, and integrates Galaxy AI features like Note Assist and Sketch to Image.
