Archos is a French consumer electronics company that was established in 1989 by Henri Crohas. Archos manufactures portable media players and portable data storage devices. Of late the company has started making tablets and smartphones as well. Archos has also manufactured devices for other companies. The company's smartphones run Android, while it has made Android tablets, apart from those running Windows.

Archos's latest mobile launch is the 80 Cesium. The tablet was launched in August 2014. The tablet comes with a 8.00-inch display with a resolution of 1280 pixels by 800 pixels at a PPI of 189 pixels per inch.

The Archos 80 Cesium is powered by 1.8GHz quad-core Intel processor and it comes with 1GB of RAM. The tablet packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Archos 80 Cesium packs a 2-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 0.3-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Archos 80 Cesium runs Windows 8.1 and is powered by a 4000mAh non removable battery. It measures 123.00 x 215.00 x 8.60 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 360.00 grams.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor.
