After creating a lot of buzz with the original Kindle Fire HD tablets, Amazon seems to be getting ready to introduce its next generation tablets. The alleged next generation Kindle Fire HD tablets have now been spotted in benchmark results.
An Italian publication, Webtrek has published GFXBench that reveal two devices - first code-named Amazon Apollo (KFAPWA) which is speculated to be a 7-inch tablet and another code-named Amazon Thor (KFTHWI) which is likely to be the 8.9-inch tablet.

The benchmarks tests results show that the tablets will come equipped with Qualcomm's Adreno 330 graphics processor which hints that the next generation Kindle Fire HD tablet may be powered by Snapdragon 800 processor, which is in-line with earlier rumours.

The results also show a screen resolution of 2560x1600 pixels which could be for the 8.9-inch version and 1920x1200 pixels resolution which could be for 7-inch version of the Kindle Fire HD tablets. The listings also reveal that both Kindle Fire HD tablets will run on Android 4.2.2 with Amazon's UI on top.

Earlier reports revealed that the next generation Kindle Fire HD tablets will sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM. The rumours had also suggested that next generation 7-inch Kindle Fire HD tablet will not include a rear camera, while the 8.9-inch Kindle Fire HD variant may feature an 8-megapixel rear camera. The next generation Kindle Fire HD tablets will reportedly have three storage options - 8GB, 16GB and 32GB.
