Looks like HP is in no hurry to give up its tablet dreams. As per a new report, HP is in process of developing a high-end Android tablet.

If UnwiredView is to be believed, then this tablet will be dubbed SlateBook 10 X2. The existence of this tablet was discovered by TabTech.

As per the German website, SlateBook 10 X2 showed up in the AnTuTu benchmark results and it is expected to have a 10-inch display of unknown resolution. So far there is no word on when this tablet will start retailing and what it will cost. Another interesting thing to note will be if HP is able to market this product beyond US shores.

It is noteworthy, that HP had tried to get into the tablet market way back in 2011 with its HP TouchPad. HP TouchPad has a 9.7-inch display with 1024X768 pixel resolution and runs on HP's own webOS. However, the tablet failed to take off and HP is now looking at making a mark in the Android tablet space.
