The Play Store listing shows three Nexus 7 (2013) tablets lined-up for the Indian market which includes the 16GB and 32GB Wi-Fi models along with a 32GB Wi-Fi + LTE model. However, Google has not revealed the Indian prices for the Wi-Fi models of the Nexus 7 (2013), yet. The Nexus 7 (2013) tablets Wi-Fi models have been priced at $229 (Rs. 14,000 approximately) and $269 (Rs. 16,500 approximately) with buy now option, though on choosing the option it shows the message, "Nexus 7 (16GB and 32GB) is not available in your country".
The search engine giant launched the second-generation Nexus 7 in July this year alongside the unveiling of the new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean platform.
The Nexus 7 (2013) tablet comes with a 7-inch full-HD display (1920x1200 pixels), implying a boast-worthy pixel density of 323ppi. It also features scratch-resistant Corning glass. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, and features 2GB of RAM, apart from 32GB of inbuilt storage (with no SD card slot). The new Nexus 7 also features a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera.
Google is also expected to launch its all new Nexus 5 smartphone in India soon. The phone was listed on Google Play India carrying a price tag of Rs. 28,999 for the 16GB variant ($349 in the US) and Rs. 32,999 for the 32GB variant ($399 in the US) on November 1.
