Sony Xperia Tablet renders leaked ahead of IFA debut

Sony's recently leaked Xperia Tablet is back again and this time we have much clearer renders. Expected to be announced at the upcoming IFA trade fair in Berlin, the tablet is way thinner than its predecessor.

Xperia Tablet will just be 11.85mm at thickest point and 8.8mm at the thinnest point, while Sony Tablet S was 20.55mm and 10.1mm.

According to previously leaked information, the tablet will keep the display size of 9.4 with 1280x800p resolution, while other specifications will include much powered Tegra 3 quad core processor, 6000 mAh battery with Android 4.0. Jelly Bean update is expected to land soon after the launch.

The Xperia Tablet will also come with Wi-Fi connectivity (3G version also expected), Bluetooth 3.0, SD card slot, and GPS.

On the pricing front, the 16GBWi-Fi version is expected to be sold for $399.99, while 32GB and 64GB versions will retail for $499.99 and $599.99 respectively.

Sony is also expected to revamp the tablet branding and the newer tablets will keep the Xperia name similar to company's Android smartphones.
