Vodafone India and Intex have entered into a partnership to offer 50 percent cashback amount (applicable on talk time) on the mobile recharges made on Intex 2G feature phones via Vodafone network during the festive season in India. Now, the customers who have an Intex feature phone will get up to Rs. 150 talk value, or 50 percent extra cashback on a voice recharge of up to Rs. 100 made on Vodafone network. This will eventually amount up to a saving of Rs. 900 on subsequent recharges done over a period of 18 months. The offer is now available for Intex feature phone users and will be valid till October 31. The offer is similar to what Vodafone made to Lava feature phone customers earlier this month.

The eligible Vodafone customers with Intex feature phones will be able to use the cashback amount for telco-offered services such as calling, SMS, and VAS. If you get your Vodafone number recharged with a voice pack of Rs. 100, you will get full talktime of Rs. 100 with an additional cashback of Rs. 50, which is 50 percent of the recharge amount. Any amount lower than this will get you 50 percent cashback. This offer is valid on all the Intex 2G feature handsets, including the ones recently launched as a part of the 'Navratna' series by Intex.

Besides, Intex is also providing its buyers a 'Special Service' offer that comes with 180-day replacement warranty on all its 2G feature phones. The offer is applicable on all eligible phones irrespective of their launch date, given that the mobile phone should have been activated September 1 onward.

Speaking on the partnership, Nidhi Markanday, director of Intex Technologies, said, "Our partnership with Vodafone for voice plans will play a major role in catering to feature phone users to enjoy additional voice calls with family and friends this festive season. Vodafone's strong pan-India network and Intex's distribution channel together will prove to be beneficial for consumers. India is still largely a feature phone driven market that needs to be catered to in the midst of the smartphone wave and so we have also introduced special replacement warranty offer for all Intex feature phone models."
