Bose is known for making some of the best noise-cancelling headphones around through its QuietComfort range. It's also got some prowess when it comes to wireless, as we saw in the case of the excellent SoundLink Around-Ear Wireless II headphones. Now, the American company has combined both technologies into one to offer its first wireless noise-cancelling headphones, the QuietComfort 35. Priced at $350, the headset is available in some global markets, but there's no word on when it will be launched in India.

The QuietComfort 35 headphones promise the same fantastic noise cancellation that the range has always provided, along with the added benefits of wireless sound through Bluetooth along with NFC for quick pairing. The battery life is claimed to be up to 20 hours when using both Bluetooth and noise cancellation, but can go up to 40 hours if you use the included cable. This will turn off Bluetooth and use the battery only for noise-cancelling. The headphones will be available in two colour variants: black and silver.

Also launched alongside are the Bose QuietControl 30 in-ear noise-cancelling headphones, as well as the SoundSport Wireless and SoundSport Wireless Pulse. The former gives you control over the level of noise-cancellation, while the latter are aimed at fitness enthusiasts thanks to sweat and water resistance, as well as a heart-rate monitor built into the earbuds for the Pulse model.

The Bose QuietComfort 35 will be the company's answer to Sony's excellent MDR-100ABN headphones, which is our current favourite for noise-cancelling wireless headphones. Pricing will likely be close to Rs. 30,000 at launch, as the older QuietComfort 25 model is still being sold at Rs. 25,200.
