Xiaomi has introduced a new pair of in-ear headphones dubbed Piston Fresh in China. Priced at just CNY 29 (roughly Rs. 300 or $4), the all-new Piston Fresh In-Ear headphones are now available in China.

The biggest highlight of the new Piston Fresh In-Ear headphones is that they sport an aluminium chamber - Xiaomi says this provides a good audio experience. Xiaomi also claims that the new headphones will fit the user's ears perfectly and can be used for long time without making the wearer uncomfortable. The company listing also boasts that the new headphones feature third-generation damping system. The new headphones also come with built-in microphone and a button for receiving calls or controlling volume.

The official website however points that the built-in microphone and volume buttons on the Piston Fresh In-Ear headphones work only with Android devices and do not work with iPhone, iPad, and iPod devices. The latest headphones will be available in a choice of colours including Blue, Black, Pink, Purple, and Silver. The headphones will be shipping with two different sizes of ear plugs.

Xiaomi stresses that the Piston Fresh headphones are built of anodised aluminium alloy material which means it is scratch-resistant, anti-fingerprint magnet, and offers non-slip feel. At the time of writing, there was no update whether the new Piston Fresh will make it to the other markets including India. Other specifications include an impedance of 32 Ohms, a frequency response range of 20Hz to 20000Hz, a weight of 14 grams, and a 5mW rated power.
