Videocon has been in the electronics business for quite a while now, manufacturing home appliances such as televisions and washing machines. For the past few years, it has also been selling smartphones. One of the most recent additions to its portfolio is the Videocon Metal Pro 2, a budget model priced at Rs 6,999. While the spec sheet does have some decent things to boast of, there are also a few that made us take a second look. With the competition already so hot, can the Metal Pro 2 come out on top? Videocon Metal Pro 2 Summary
The Metal Pro 2 is an entry-level smartphone from Videocon. It sports a 5-inch HD display with capacitive touch buttons below it. Powering the phone is a MediaTek MT6737 SoC clocked at 1.25GHz. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The Metal Pro 2 is a dual-SIM device and has a Micro-SIM and a Nano_SIM slot. Storage is expandable via the hybrid second SIM slot and cards upto 128GB will work. It has a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The battery is rated at 2000mAh and is removable. There is support for 4G and VoLTE.
