While on one hand Facebook's Oculus is facing delayed shipments, the HTC Vive VR headset has its own share of problems. The Taiwanese company's Vive team in a blog post over the weekend said it faced an issue while processing some pre-orders for the wearable device.

The company said that some pre-orders were affected by auto-cancellation last month. HTC is working on the issue and says it has already restored orders for some customers. "While fulfilling this week's orders for HTC Vive, a limited number of individuals were affected by auto cancellations due to processing issues with financial institutions. We're actively working to resolve this, and have already reinstated orders for some customers. We want to assure our customers that we'll work with them to process their payment so they can receive their Vive when they were expecting it," said the firm.

Vive team in the post also asks those who pre-ordered the wearable device to contact their "financial institution to notify them of upcoming charges."

According to a HTC executive, the Taiwanese company last month sold over 15,000 units of the HTC Vive virtual reality headset in the first 10 minutes of its pre-orders. Since the device costs $799 (roughly Rs. 54,000) in the United States, it means that in the first 10 minutes the company sold $12 million worth of headsets.

HTC began accepting pre-orders for its head-mounted VR gadget on February 29. Last month it also revealed the international pricing for the HTC Vive, and support for PayPal service.

The HTC Vive requires a high-end PC to run it, which makes the headset unfit for many. The company recently published the minimum system requirements for its HTC Vive: Intel Core i5-4590 / AMD FX 8350 equivalent or better, Nvidia GeForce GTX 970, AMD Radeon R9 290 equivalent or better, 4GB of RAM, and more.
