Gameloft in its on-going partnership with Marvel has announced a new Spider-Man game for mobile, called Spider-Man: Unlimited, along with its announcement trailer.

Spider-Man: Unlimited, which set to arrive on Android, iOS and Windows Phone in September this year.

Unlike the recent Amazing Spider-Man 2 game for smartphones and tablets by the duo, this time Gameloft has used Marvel's past variations of the superhero and has incorporated 23 different avatars in Spider-Man: Unlimited. The users can upgrade to all 23 of them. The trailer however highlights the five main versions: the original Spider-Man, Iron Spider-Man, Spider-Man Noir, Future Foundation Spider-Man and Ben Reilly Spider-Man.

The game title is set in New York and shares the same comic-style animation used in Gameloft's Captain America, which was launched in March. Spider-Man: Unlimited would let gamers face off The Formidable Sinister Six, a team of villains including Doctor Octavius, Vulture, and Electro and others. The game is based on episode-styled story design and makes the gameplay more challenging by introducing the villain's dimensional counterparts like that of Spider-Man's.

Spider-Man: Unlimited will be shown off at this year's E3 2014 event scheduled for June 10 to 12 at Los Angeles Convention Centre.

"Gameloft is once again honored to be working with the timeless super-hero universes created by Marvel," said Karine Kaiser, VP Marketing & Licensing at Gameloft in a press statement. "With Spider-Man Unlimited, players can expect a faithful recreation of the Spider-Man comics through an incredible narrative runner experience."

A couple of months ago, Gameloft released Amazing Spider-Man 2 for Android and iOS users on April 17. The game was tied with the latest movie version.
