Highlights
  • Friendly Run is a casual competitive feature in Super Mario Run
  • You can only access it if you've added at least one friend in the game
  • If you finished the first two Worlds you can play it five times a day

Super Mario Run's Friendly Run mode is an asynchronous multiplayer feature similar to the game’s existing Toad Rally mode but with a few twists.

First, it lets you race against friends, not strangers. What this means is, you'll need to have at least one player added to your friends list. Second, you won’t be winning any in-game rewards, rather you're competing for bragging rights.
