The biggest new feature of the UC Browser 9.9.2 is the built-in Ad Blocking feature, which is meant to automatically block all the advertisements on a webpage. The update also adds a navigation page with new icons for browsing content.

Some other additions in UC Browser version 9.9.2 for Android include automatic rearrangement of elements on a webpage for an optimised display of text. Further, the new version also adds the option to customise the colour of a webpage. The company notes, "This lets you change any webpage's background colour according to a selection of your favourite colours. Try it out by going to Menu - Themes - Background Colour."
Other additions include quicker Facebook access with the ability to create a shortcut for it on the homepage. Notably, the new UC Browser v9.9.2 for Android is now available for download from Google Play.
Last month, UCWeb launched an integrated PNR and train status checker feature, called 'Train Enquiry', for its smartphone app. The feature, apart from letting users check their PNR and train status in-app, allowed them to search for Indian Railways trains.
Prior to this, the company released an update to its UC Browser HD (version 3.0) browser app for Android, which is a mobile and tablet browser designed for big screen devices. UC Browser HD 3.0 added gesture controlled browsing and a gesture controlled video player.
Earlier this year, UCWeb released v9.6 of the UC Browser for Android.
