• VFM,but with small grips

  Bought this laptop 2 weeks ago. Intially i was looking for the model x541uj,the one that comes with a graphics card. But that one went out of stock and restocking didnt happen for two days. So i gave a go for this one. I received the product within three days of order. The packaging was good ,no complaints about that matter . My only grip was the colour of the laptop which was available only in black and gold . But the device didnt look that bad as i thought and was alright. The device came with dos os so i had to install windows manually. After installing windows i took the driver dvd to install the drivers for touchpad, wifi etc but it showed something like 'unsupported disk for your device'. I looked through the dvd and found out that i recieved the wrong driver dvd ,the dvd of one with a graphics card model . Had to download the driver manually from asus website which was a slight pain.Performance of this laptop is really good with windows 10. Can handle multiple apps in the background eith ease . I mainly bought this laptop for my college purposes and coding and everything works fine till now. I did not try it with any game as it is not meant for nay hardcore gaming , but intel hd 520 graphics can handle some old titles at medium settings .The screen of this laptop is a full hd one which highly rare for this price . I guess it's a TN panel . The resolution seems good but the quality is bad. Viewing angles are not that good but again that's acceptable for the given price. The hinge seems sturdy too,doesnt woble too much. Keyboard of the device is really good . I feel it very easy to type on with a good amount of space between the keys. Again there is no indication for num lock,caps lock keys to find out whether they are on or off. Maybe that's a tradeoff for the otherwise good keyboard. The trackpad has good sliding capabilities and clicks are also fine but its a bit on the loose side . I always hear a small banging sound whenever i tap on it because of the loose pad{may be a problem with my product} There are only two regular usb port the third one is a usb type c one ,unusual for the price, but it is advertised that it can provide upto 5gbps data transfer speed. Got to check that out :) Battery life of the device is good . I can easily sqeeze it through 5 to 6 hours and i use to charge it once in two or three day. Overall,a good product for the price . Recommended :)

  This is a very good laptop... a FHD screen and awesome sounding speakers, sixth gen i3 and fast RAM. All that and very sensible pricing.There is no other to match the bet.

• Best under 30k!

  This is the best laptop if your budget is under 30k and you don't want to go for amd. Its been two years and is working smooth. No other brand was giving full HD in this price range. Battery backup is awesome and the speakers, I've never seen such speakers in any brand's laptop. You don't need external speakers for this. The only con is the build quality which is not that good but in this price range it is satisfactory as asus is already providing a lot in terms of specifications and not to forget its 3 years warranty which I got only for 999 extra. Other brands charge atleast 2500 for warranty extention. My laptop is still in warranty period.

  Battery very poor. I change the keyboard two times in one year. This is a very poor product.
