Realme 16 5G

The Realme 16 gets a fresh-new design, going with a flatter and modern appearance. It also gets a visor-like camera module with all its cameras laid out horizontally. Despite extensive use of polycarbonate for the rear panel and the chassis, the phone still manages at IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

While software performance gets the job done, raw or gaming performance is underwhelming. Mobile titles heavy on graphics can barely run smoothly despite having a vapour cooling chamber in place to maintain performance.

Software experience is heavy with AI features, some of which deliver. Camera performance is quite poor as the primary camera cannot handle basic daylight performance. The selfie camera does a better job at imaging. Battery life is impressive and can easily handle over a day of heavy use.
