Value for Money

Good
Powerful chipset
Flagship-like premium design
Great build quality
Smooth software experience
Good camera performance

Bad
Significantly more expensive than its predecessor
Same hardware as the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, except for the chipset
Does not feel like an upgrade over previous generations

Since 2020, Samsung's Fan Edition (FE) models have served as the entry point into the company's flagship Galaxy S lineup, without premium cost that is usually associated with them. The idea is fairly simple: take the flagship experience and trim a few corners so that it becomes more accessible to the masses. The new Samsung Galaxy S26 FE, launched globally last month, continues that approach. This year's model, however, feels more like an evolution of the formula than a major departure.

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Summary

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE was recently launched in India with a notable price hike, now available at a starting price of Rs. 79,999. However, the smartphone still sticks to its key 'Fan Edition' character of offering a near-flagship user experience. The phone does not offer any notable upgrades over the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE. It gets the same battery, camera configuration, display, and charging support. However, it has been refreshed with last year's Exynos 2500 chipset, which powers the Galaxy S25 series. It also gets a redesigned rear camera module, similar to the Galaxy S26.
