Twins Shyam (Amitabh Bachchan) and Toofan (Bachchan) are separated at birth by their father (Pran Sikand), a police inspector. One grows up to be a magician, and the other, Toofan, hero of the poor. When the father is falsely accused of stealing millions in gold, Toofan works to clear his name from the police records.
