The popular bird-slinging pig-smashing game will be hitting consoles soon. Activision will be publishing Angry Birds HD on consoles. Activision, who revealed some major titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron and Skylanders: Giants, quietly inserted the tease in to the E3 demo reel. But folks at The Escapist were clever enough to spot it first between an ad for Call of Duty and some footage of The Amazing Spiderman.

The brief teaser revealed the tiny red bird soaring towards the 'A' in Activison's logo and then exploding into feathers. When confronted, Activison said that they'll have more news for the game in about two weeks' time. There is no official announcement for the game yet.

Just yesterday, Angry Birds maker Rovio revealed that the latest iteration of the game, Angry Birds Space had crossed the 100 million mark in 76 days post its launch on 22nd March. The original Angry Birds has been downloaded over a billion times. Rovio is currently also working on a Formula 1 theme-based Angry Birds titled Angry Birds Heikki.
