yes it supports win7 & 8 64 bit versions,, can get all the drivers from HP US site. just google vd d model no... using it for 10 days. avg battery 4-5 hrs with moderate use vd sm gaming. jst make sure to install graphics driver frm HP b4 installing amd catalyst..othrwise d graphics wont wrk. Also an issue is, it is showing only 800mhz frequency RAM in tskmngr & speccy. Complained to HP n they r snding a tech guy to make it clear to me,, lets hope they change it to 1600mhz one.

Laptop based on new Carrizo line which consumes much less battery. See the proccessor AMD A8 7410 version along M330 graphics rather M230 graphics. Go for it you are a gamer on a budget and value battery life. Not much inprovement on non graphic intensive tasks. Comparable to 5th gen i3 but much much better graphics.

Nice for 2D and top down games. Lags or/and heats up with 3d games. Huge screen... good for gaming and movie viewing. A little too big to carry... so please consider that while buying...

using from last 1.5 years working well everything only issue with ubuntu 14.04 realtek card wifi range issue due to drivers

Laptops performance was awesome... I am using from November -16... Great GPU abd APU at this cost.... Battery backup was also good...

Specs r nice but is there going to be any hustle installing win7 ... i would buy it if it doesnt and for specs its a 4/5 star but its the operating sysytem issue coz hp supports says a lot about win8 not for win7 ... can somebody help..

For those who thinks it have 2gb graphics.....guys it not 2gb...it has 2.5gb graphics in total.... 500mb on the APU and 2gb dedicated gpu! And we all know APU processor are gaming beast on the budget

It's been more than a year since i bought this product I am reviewing it now as i saw no flaws in it so far.... I as a graphic designer will recommend people who are looking for a similar kind. This Model is good to run/use photoshop, illustrator and other 2d softwares very smoothly. (No Stutters). I have not installed games/3d softwares, so no clarification regarding the same. But i will suggest 15-bg001AX Notebook (15.6 inch, Turbo Silver, 2.19 kg) which is EVEN MORE BETTER as that model has 1 TB HDD 4 GB RAM (Supports Upto 16 GB) (2 Slots) ( I recommend another 4 GB RAM to be added ) 2 GB Graphic Processor - (M430) where 15-af006AX model is 2GB (M330) Instruction set are the same in both these models. (Dont get Confused). I will STRONGLY RECOMMEND HP - 15-bg001AX Notebook (15.6 inch, Turbo Silver, 2.19 kg), as the price is 1K less than this model (15-af006AX) which i have bought/reviewed. I rate (15-af006AX) model - 8/10 I rate (15-bg001AX ) model - 9.5/10

Product is good and delivery next day very nice but free Windows recieved with crash, thats not matter becoz I installed windows 10 pro. It seems everything is fine with 15 days of using.

i have bought it recently and till now its working good and i dint find any defect as reported by some customer. I think this is good laptop for general use but review says its a moderate games device which i dint check still. But the keypad and touchpad are of little lower quality than other brand .

M330 graphics driver is not present in ATI website. The user's of this laptop... how or from where are you installing the driver????Please help

Don't consider if u want to play games Even in NFS it lags
