Apple has made live the redesigned iCloud.com website that features a new design, user interface and icons in line with iOS 7, which releases on Wednesday. Even the iCloud apps such as Mail, Calendar, Notes, and Reminders sport a new look which is similar to their iOS 7 counterparts. The UI elements in the apps use text instead of beveled buttons and sport a much slimmer font than the one present in the previous version of iCloud.

It's worth pointing out that the redesigned iCloud website was in beta and was available to developers in August.

The iCloud.com homepage now features an animated background similar to iOS 7's Dynamic wallpapers. The icons for all the apps barring the recently launched iWork apps have been revamped and now look flat just like their iOS 7 icons. There's even a transition effect while launching apps and coming back to the Home screen. Each app features an app switcher allowing users to directly open another iCloud app or go to the Home screen. The switcher is located at the top left corner with the name of the current app. Even the user account picture is in a circle just like iOS 7 contacts.

Each of the Apple apps has been redesigned and gets rid of the skeuomorphic elements like fake leather, felt, and linen, and appears much more cleaner and minimalistic with elements inspired from iOS 7.

The Find My iPhone app now features an animated Compass while it looks for your devices. However, it still uses Google Maps, which is understandable as Apple Maps have still not attained the same level of accuracy and detail.

Apple had recently made its iWork for iCloud.com service which is essentially an online extension of its iWork Office suite, available to all users, after initially offering it to select developers and iCloud users. Following the rollout, iCloud users started seeing icons for Pages (a word processor), Numbers (a spreadsheet tool) and Keynote (a presentation tool) in their iCloud dashboards along with the usual Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Notes, Reminders and Find My iPhone apps.
